OVERVIEW
Set off with our private tours from Chengdu to discover Sichuan's innate natural beauty.On this 4-day journey, you will enjoy the superlative landscapes of Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, which is just like walking into a fairytale world. Besides, we will travel to Panda Park in Dujiangyan and Qiang village in Taoping, observing China’s most popular native animal and visiting the blockhouse which is one kind of defensive constructon.
*The tourist attractions mentioned in the itinerary are open to overseas visitors.
ITINERARY
D1 Chengdu - Chuanzhusi Town (340km, 6hrs drive)
-At 07:00am, our driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and drive to Chuanzhu Temple. Along the way, you will visit Dujiangyan Panda Park and see the Diexi Haizi, a plateau lake formed by a large earthquake, also known as the Diexi earthquake site.
-At noon, you will have lunch in Dujiangyan. After lunch, our driver will drive to the Songzhou Ancient City, founded in the Ming Dynasty, it is not only a military fortress in the northwest of Sichuan since ancient times, but also an important station for the "tea horse trade" of the Tibetan, Qiang, Hui, and Han people with a long history.
Tip: There is no fee to enter Songzhou Ancient City, but climbing the wall charges 45 yuan (optional).
-At 18:00 pm, you will arrive at Chuanzhusi Town.
Stay overnight at Mijin Hotel Songpan Superior 2-bed Room
D2 Chuanzhusi Town-Huanglong-Jiuzhaigou (90km, 2hrs drive)
-Around 08:30am, you will arrive at the Huanglong Scenic Area. To save your energy and time, we will arrange a cable car to the top of the valley, then hike down to see the outstanding travertine lake terraces close up. Recommended sightseeing time:3-4 hours.
*Huanglong Scenic Area Opening hours: 04/13-11/21 08:00-18:00; 11/22-04/12 09:00-17:30. The running time of the cable car up is 08:00- 16:30.
-At 14:30 p.m.the driver will meet you at the entrance and drive to Jiuzhaigou.
Stay overnight at Howard Johnson Tianyuan Resort Superior Room (2 Beds)
D3 Jiuzhaigou Full-day Tour (1900m-3100m)
-After breakfast in the hotel, at 08:00am, the driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and drive to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Start early to discover the fairyland landscapes and avoid the crowding.
-Around 16:30pm, the driver will meet you at the exit and take you back to your hotel.
Recommended sightseeing time:8 hours.

*Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area Opening hours: 04/01-11/09 08:00-17:30; 11/10-03/31 08:30-17:00.
Tip:
1.There are three main valleys: Shuzheng Valley, Rize Valley, and Zechawa Valley. Private vehicles are not allowed inside, so you can take the shuttle bus in the scenic area and tour around.
2.A buffet lunch can be arranged in Nuorilang Restaurant, which is the only restaurant in the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. If you like, you could take simple food like chocolate, bread, crisps, and fruit and arrange a picnic lunch instead.
3.A Classic Visiting Route:
Morning: Entrance - Virgin Forest - Swan Lake - Jianzhuhai Sea - Panda Lake - Wuhuahai - Pearl Beach
Lunch break
Afternoon: Changhai - Colorful Pond - Nuorilang Waterfall - Xiliu Sea - Shuzheng Waterfall - Reed Lake - Exit
4.Evening activity: local Tibetan Culture Show - Jiuzhai Ancient Love (optional)
D4 Jiuzhaigou - Chengdu (450km, 8hrs drive)
-At 08:00am, after your breakfast in the hotel, we will drive back to Chengdu today. Leave the magnificent mountain pass behind, then you will arrive at Qiang village in Taoping.
-At 12:30pm, have a simple lunch.
-At 15:30pm, explore the best place to appreciate the authentic watchtowers, the undisturbed Qiang village, the Qiang embroidery, music and dance of Qiang minority, pure life and rich culture of Qiang people in China. Recommended sightseeing time:1.5 hours.
-At 17:00-19:30, we will drive all the way back to Chengdu and say goodbye.
Tips:
1.In the case of traffic control, we will have to go the original route back to Chengdu.
2.It is expected to arrive in Chengdu around 19:30. However, the traffic along the way is not predictable. A train or flight departing on the same day is not suggested.

Additional information
1. our driver will contact you one day before departure and double-confirm the time and hotel address for pickup.
2. Booking a hotel within Chengdu’s Third Ring road is recommended.
3. To start early morning, please remind the hotel to pack the breakfast.
4. When visiting, please do not engage in vigorous exercise.
5. A VIP mini shuttle bus is recommended in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area during high season. You just need to pay 210 yuan onsite. It provides a seat for each guest and a full-time guide for each bus. It spares enough time for visiting each spot.
6. The temperature difference between day and night is large, so it is recommended to bring your jacket.
7.Name, Passport number, Nationality, Date of Birth, Gender is required at time of booking for all travelers.
8. Infants must sit on laps.
9. Not wheelchair accessible.
10. A current valid passport is required on the day of travel.
